Hagee forgets that the brunt of Katrina was actually borne by Mississippi, and I kind of doubt they had a homosexual parade scheduled for that Monday.

By the way, am I the only who's noticed that evangelical preachers spend a suspicious amount of time thinking about homosexuals?

And hardly any time thinking about eating lobsters, which is also described as an abomination in Leviticus.
But when I think about it, if they can't scuba fish for lobsters, they need to find other uses for wetsuits, so it's all starting to fall into place.

When you are as full of crazy ideas as Rev. Hagee it must be pretty difficult to decide which ones to emphasize.

There was a brilliant Stephen Colbert "This Week in God" bit on the conservative Christian interpretation that New Orleans was punished by God for hosting a gay pride parade.

He noted that Katrina wiped out the parts of New Orleans next to the area where the pride parade was held, but did relatively little damage to the area along the parade route, wryly commenting that God does not hate gays, but the "gay adjacent."

I think Crooksandliars.com may have it archived.
