Michael Ware - not the enemy
Digby saw him yesterday on CNN:
MICHAEL WARE, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, what I can tell you from the outset, Suzanne, is that, say, for example, by some bizarre political miracle, Congress was able to impose a real time line, a real deadline on the U.S. presence here or on the funding for the war here. Now that absolutely would play completely into the hands of America’s identified enemies, al Qaeda in Iraq. That would be handing the entire advantage to them. That’s why that can never really happen.
DIGBY comments: If the wingnuts watched something other than Fox they would know that Michael Ware is not their enemy.
You can read the longer transcript (and Digby’s typical rhetoric) at the link.
The folks who are freaking out about Michael Ware crinkling a candy wrapper too loud during McCain’s presser should get a grip. It never was about his decorum; it was about his supposed “activism.” … uhhh? .. Guys? “Michael Ware agrees with you!”
