The "San Diego Museum of Hoaxes"? Shouldn't that be 11 hoaxes?

I did like the one about the Liberty Taco Bell, and the alignment of Jupiter and Pluto.

It's not an April Fool's joke, but I liked a European hoax I once read about. Someone wanted to play a trick on Germans, so the hoaxster went to a German city, found a pair of telephone booths, and put signs on them, "Men" and "Women" (in German). Sure enough, the Germans queued up by sex and waited their turn for the phone booths. A French woman came up, sighed in exasperation at the regimented Germans, and used whichever booth became available first.
