Thousands Flock To Tour ‘Christmas Story’ House

The man who bought and restored the house used in the filming of “A Christmas Story” said it was all worth it.

At least 3,000 fans of the 1980s cult classic came to Cleveland Saturday from all over the U.S. and Canada for its opening. Brian Jones, 30, of San Diego, bought the three-story, wood-frame house last year on e-Bay.

He invested $500,000 to make the house look like it did in the movie. He set up a gift shop and a museum across the street.

The movie centers on the childhood of Ralphie Peters, a bespectacled boy growing up in the 1940s, and his quest to get a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas.

The house is in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood, just minutes from downtown.

    Hi,

I’ve put the Rino logo some weeks ago on our blog. Could you please add us to the blogroll? The contact form at Rino’s page is not working.

Not that I would visit if it did… :)

One of my favorite Christmas movies and one of the funniest movies of all time. It’s hard to believe the same director was behind Porky’s and Rhinestone.

    Sockpuppet -

Haha, you could be right about Greenwald. But,

#1. An IP is not DNA nor even a fingerprint. The IP address traces to Brazil and that Greenwald is in a same-sex relationship with a Brazilian who presumably reads blogs too. Perhaps it is dishonest for close friends/lovers to ’sockpuppet’ blogs for you. *shrug*

#2. Seems here we have Greenwald accusing a right-wing blogger of not adequately denouncing statements by Coulter. He really should’ve Google’d up previous statements but it’s clear it wasn’t willfull dishonesty.

That’s it? Sorry, you’ll have to find more damning evidence of intellectual dishonesty - ummmm, perhaps try his blog. Find one instance of willful intent to mislead his readers.

Willful intellectual dishonesty is the modus operandi of the right-wing blogosphere and I’m more than willing to back that up with examples. Thanks for the cookie, by the way. :)

    Merry Christmas!
