Andrew Baron, of Rocketboom, couldn’t figure out how to maintain a good working relationship with this woman? Because he owned 51% of a URL? Big deal. Amanda Congdon apparently owns 100% of Amanda.

The Washington Post says:

But without its attractive host — some say she was why most people watched, anyway — Congdon’s departure could spell doom for a wildly popular site that helped launch the popularity of video blogs.

Andrew, there is a universal lesson here:

“If you own a hip vlog or some other technology-of-the-day media resource, and your real asset is a hot young blond female presenter, you are not, in any meaningful way, the majority partner.”
