Upgrade to Wordpress 2.0.2
Remember the rule, “Never upgrade to version X.0 of anything?”
I broke it, and upgraded to WP 2.0. Silly me.
Of course, a few weeks later version 2.0.2 with important security upgrades was released.
That’s what I’m doing this morning. Testing stuff. Maybe I need this book:![]()
Please leave a test comment, especially if you see anything odd. Of course, any unusual behavior might be a function of the upgrade in progress, but let me know. Thanks.
Once I turn on the WP-cache plug-in, it will purposely cache recently viewed pages (a feature, not a bug).
From the following, it looks like I have some more work to do.

Rgod has discovered a vulnerability in WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system. Input passed to various fields when registering or updating the user profile isn’t properly sanitised before being stored in PHP scripts in the wp-content/cache/userlogins/ and wp-content/cache/users/ directories inside the web root.
