24 Diktat Chat

On Monday night, 8PM Eastern (or a little before), I will open up the Politburo chat room for those watching ‘24‘ on Fox.

Select a username, then, leaving ‘public’ room as default, just click on ‘chat’
Hopefully someone will be able to explain to me who all the characters are. Those playing the 24 drinking game will be at a disadvantage in the chat room.

Knowing your Jack Bauer facts will help. I’m not sure if these Jack Bauer “facts” will be as helpful (c’mon, “bullet-proof saliva?”). I wonder if this guy will be there.

The Commissar is throwin’ a “24″ Party Tonight!…

I have only watched “24,” once or twice, but it may be worth doing tomorrow just to go to the party. Need to rememeber the Jack Bauer facts though…….

There’s an interesting explanation of why hyper-complicated programs like “24″ are popular now, in the book: Everything Bad Is Good for You: How Today’s Popular Culture Is Actually Making Us Smarter

Myself, I never get to watch anything adult-oriented on TV, and probably won’t until my kids are well into elementary school.

Hey, invite the Blogs4Bauer crew, that should be a good time.

If you’re wondering what all the 24 fuss is about, I heartily recommend watching all the seasons on DVD. Just set aside a whole weekend for each one.

If Islam is offended by mere charecters portrayed in a cartoon why are they not outraged at terror, kidnappings, beheadings and the emberassment fostered by the radicals who are telling the world they are speaking for all of Islam. Your actions or inactions speak volumes that no cartoon can ever ever capture.
