Alert: Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald’s assistant has been reliably reported to have purchased at a local Staples: six yellow legal pads, four black fine-tipped pens, a box of 6 multi-color Dry-Erase markers, and one Snickers bar. Our sources indicate that the Snickers seemed to be an “impulse purchase” and may or may not indicate the staffer’s need for extra energy while working late hours.
