My friend and fellow RINO, Kevin Boyd, at Lousiana Libertarian, hasn’t updated his blog nor responded to emails since Hurricane Katrina hit. His last post:

Saturday, August 27, 2005 - Hurricane Katrina update

I just got done watching the local coverage of Katrina on the local Fox affiliate. Right now, only one parish, Plaquemines, is ordering mandatory evacuations. A map of Louisiana’s parishes can tell you why. Also, the current storm track takes the storm right over New Orleans (this blog is published in a suburb north of New Orleans). If the storm hits New Orleans as a category 4 or possibly even a 5, the damage with be catastrophic to say the least due the New Orleans’s bowl-like topography. Pray for all of us here in Southeast Louisiana.
