Self Introduction
I am Minh-Duc from State of Flux. It is an honored to be invited by the Commissar to guest-blog here. A little bit about me. I am a Vietnamese-American who lived under brutal Communism for many years. The reality under Communism shaped my political outlook pushing me toward the right of the political spectrum.
I am also a member of National Guard who just came back from a deployment in Iraq early this year. Before that I was deployed to Bosnia. My topics tend to gravitate toward national security and the Global War on Terrorism, but I do occasionally blog on other topics.
Here are a few samples of my works. I just recently wrote about the damaging effect of the policy not to invade Iraq in 1991. This post of mine was mentioned by Wretchard of The Belmont Club. Of course due to the lack of information at the time, my analysis was less than perfect – I did not think that the terrorists were suicides. Other than that my prediction was quite accurate. My instinct that the terrorists were British was later confirmed.
