I have been reading Morice's Easy Stories in Attic Greek again. They really are very helpful.
They are just the right level of challenge and comfort for an intermediate Greek student.

Morice is very nice, but I'm not smart enough to enjoy the exercises without translations into English.
An alternative/ adjunct is to go to www.textkit.com and download it's three old Greek Prose Composition books -- AND THE KEYS = translations. Then you've got both the Greek and the English text for many hundreds of simple short paragraphs. I find it very useful.
