Refueling of Lockheed P-38

Refueling of a Lockheed P-38 "Lightning". The deep chin radiators (below the propellers) identify this as a P-38J. The green and gray camo was used in early 1944, on the P-38J-5 and P-38J-10 variants. The lack of nose art and the covered machine guns suggest this photo was taken stateside.
