Wing: all-metal; spars are tension field beams of extruded aluminum alloy chord members and verticals, and 24ST sheet light gauge webs; aluminum alloy truss type ribs; 24ST skin; riveted construction; torque-driven flaps are aluminum alloy skin, truss ribs. Tail group: all-metal. Fully retractable landing gear equipped with 42 X 15 Goodrich tires, Autofan wheels and brakes, oil and spring shock absorbers. Fafnir bearings for plane controls.
